The first meeting of the group was a great success. Thank you to all those who attended. There was excellent discussion about what people would like to get out of the group and what areas of interest there are. Some of those areas include programming, converting from Windows to Mac, and what applications people use. When talking about applications, this of course led to discussions of alternatives to Windows applications, open source applications, and little know gems.
The plans for the next meeting are currently being formulated, but expect it to be a mid-week meeting in the second or third week of April. If you have a preference, please make it heard.
I hope to post pictures of the first meeting soon. Additionally we will be adding a wiki to this site so that common questions and answers can be posted and we can all start to help each other.
So, stay tuned, and don’t forget to sign up for the e-newsletter!

We are very happy to announce that after a long wait, really just used to whet your appetite, the first meeting of the Lowcountry Apple User Group will finally be a reality. The meeting will be at 6pm on March 16th, at Rehava in North Charleston. This is the same location that the Charleston Co-Work project currently uses during the day.
Rehava is right next door to the Starbucks at 5060 International Boulevard, across from the North Charleston Convention Center and very near Tanger Outlet Mall.

We look forward to seeing you there!

We would like to have the first meeting within the next few weeks – probably the first or second week of August. To help us in the planning process it would be great if you would let us know where and when would be best for you to attend. So, please take this short survey as soon as possible and we will get this show going!
